In this workshop, parents and professionals will explore the importance of beginning career development at the elementary age for students with disabilities. Participants will discover activities that support self and career awareness, identity, and career exploration. This session will also enhance understanding of collaboration among schools, families, and community connections in elementary career development. Resources and strategies to ensure elementary experiences that are impactful and encouraged for students with disabilities throughout elementary school will also be reviewed. Registration requested.

Guardianship can be a valuable tool to protect individuals who don’t or no longer possess the ability to make appropriate personal or financial decisions for themselves. This workshop will help parents and caregivers understand the guardianship process, levels of guardianship and alternatives to guardianship. Registration requested.

The event is also for anyone open to dating someone with a physical disability. Shadchanim on site.
