A/C Program Available To Those With Heat Adverse Conditions---The New York state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance has set aside $3 million in federal funding to provide air conditioning units or fans to people with serious health issues that can be adversely affected by extreme heat. Services Available For The Blind and People With TBI---The Lighthouse Guild in New York City offers behavioral health programs for people with vision loss, traumatic brain injury (TBI) or other physical disabilities. Its staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, social workers, art therapists and other health care professionals. Free Tickets Available For Philharmonic And Shakespeare---YAI is offering tickets to New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Park series and Shakespeare in the Park shows for people who are frail, disabled, institutionalized and physically at-risk. Eligible individuals may request up to two tickets per performance, although due to extremely high demand there may not be enough tickets for all who are interested. Tennis Lessons Available---The Riverside Clay Tennis Association offers both wheelchair and adaptive tennis programs for children and adults with disabilities on Mondays at 4 p.m. through June.
