Heating Bill Assistance---Heart Share Human Services in Brooklyn administers four different energy funds to help low-income households pay part of their heating bill in 2017. Grants range between $200 and $350. Visit www.heartshare.org/our-programs/energy-assistance-and-community-development

Resources for Wheelchair Users---Wheel Life is an organization for people who use wheelchairs. They provide global peer support through Facebook and Twitter. Their website provides daily news and educational articles, as well as resources on health, employment, education, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, home modification, support groups and accessible travel. Employment Grant Available---AGENCIES PLEASE NOTE---Applications for Kessler Foundation employment grants are being accepted to fund new pilot initiatives and demonstration projects that address the unemployment of the disabled. The grants are for tax-exempt organizations that need funding for new ideas, not expansions of existing projects or programs. Although proposals can be submitted from anywhere in the country, priority may be given to rural states and other areas with limited services. The deadline is March 17. ADHD Survey---Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is conducting a national online study about children who have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and household chores.
