End-of-Summer ASD Boys Program---A program for high functioning verbal boys ages 8-12 on the autism spectrum will be taking place in the Monsey NY area at the end of August 2016. Professionally trained staff will work on Social skills, Leisure /Sports skills while maintaining and reinforcing goals that were worked on all through the school year. Alzheimer’s Drug Trial---Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains NY is seeking recruits for its three year clinical trial to evaluate whether increasing thiamine (vitamin B1) can slow cognitive decline in individuals with mild Alzheimer’s disease or cognitive impairment.
