Online Sibling Support---Sibs For Us is a new online sibling support group. A note from Ellie, their founder:

This is a group for siblings of kids with special needs. We know it can sometimes be a struggle growing up with siblings with SN. But we also know that it can be incredibly inspiring as well.

Speaking to a friend recently, demonstrating with my words that I understood her, I could see a visible difference in her demeanor, just knowing that someone knew what she was talking about. Growing up with a sibling with special needs has its share of challenges and joy. We want you to have a place to share it, knowing that others, although completely different to you, have this unique thread tying you together.

Sibsforus aims to give siblings of kids with Special Needs space to express their opinions, share their feelings and provide positivity for others too!

To join, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  with your name and email address. You will be asked to post a short introduction to become part of the moderated group. You can receive emails and correspond with other siblings, by replying to individuals or to all who belong to the group.
