Insomnia---The "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" Group is a FREE 6-week Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia group run by Dr. Eric Pollak, that will address key components of sleep, help modify your sleeping habits, and debunk myths about sleeping. Seminars For Clinic Administrators --Cerebral Palsy of New York State is conducting seminars on disability clinics revenue enhancement to help clinics ensure that they are receiving the maximum reimbursement they are entitled to and to improve their overall financial operations. The sessions will be held Jan. 9 and March 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CP of NYS Affiliate Services Office, 3 Cedar St. Ext., Suite 2, Cohoes, N.Y.. Catheterization Focus Group---Persons who perform intermittent catheterization and who have spinal cord injury or spina bifida, or who are parents or caregivers of such individuals, are asked to share their experiences in one-hour focus groups, which will take place entirely online and by telephone during January, 2015. Participant information will be kept strictly confidential and will be used to develop a urinary symptom self-management protocol to help people with neurogenic bladder. Access Board Has Guide For Outdoor Sites--- A guide on achieving accessible outdoor sites, including trails and camping areas, is now available from the U.S. Access Board. The document discusses provisions of accessibility guidelines the Board issued last fall for outdoor sites developed by the federal government. Legal Assistance---The Israeli Bar Association will assist families with low income who have children with special needs, in receiving legal assistance by volunteer lawyers. Their "Schar Mitzvah" program offers legal assistance free of charge for families with low income who follow the criteria.
