A project of the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel (AACI). They work closely with the AACI klitah (absorption) counselors who help people before, during and after making aliyah with any bureaucratic questions or problems they may be having.
This project is dedicated to making the resources available to empower people to navigate the system themselves.
The Shira Pransky Project offers the following services, among others:
- All Rights Index - Hundreds of pages of English resources on healthcare-related rights and services in Israel
- Organizations Directory - The largest English-language listing of healthcare assistance and support organizations in Israel
- Counselor Support - Guidance from AACI’s klitah counselors related to navigating Israeli bureaucracy
- Collaboration and Outreach - Helping Israeli service providers and non-profits better serve and reach English-speakers, and helping English-speakers navigate the healthcare system
