Government Food Programs--National
Food Stamps
Food stamps is a nationally funded government program providing financially eligible people with monthly supplemental funds through a Benefit debit card which can be used to purchase food. Contact your local Department of Social Services for more information.
WIC
WIC is a nationally funded government program which provides financially eligible pregnant or nursing women and children up to age 5 with monthly coupons which can be used to buy specific items such as formula, milk, juice, cheese, beans, etc. Contact your local Board of Health for more information.
