Fixing Special Needs Equipment

We have discovered that YAD SARAH in Jerusalem has a state of the art workshop where they fix wheelchairs and anything else they possibly can.

It doesn’t matter if it is theirs or not.

We recently “tried our luck” there – and instead of having to “import new wheels and brakes” for our convaid wheelchair, (which would have cost us a mere 800$ not counting shipping!)  they simply changed our tires and adjusted the breaks for less than 200 NIS (50$!!!!)

All this, on the spot, while some of the elderly volunteers were blowing up and shaping balloons to entertain the wheelchair owner and his siblings!
