Chaya Malka Burn Foundation
An Israeli organization that assists burn patients in Israel and abroad by providing support and information. They assist patients with the $1800 cost of a pressure garment, the elastic body suit that prevents the formation of scars. Burn patients need two suits which are refitted two to three times a year during recovery. They also help purchase the specialized creams and vitamins necessary for a full recovery, as well as providing psychological and spiritual counseling for Jewish burn survivors.
Chaya Malka Abramson is herself a burn survivor, author of the book Who by Fire.
