A Lakewood & Brooklyn based support system for mothers of preemies and micro-preemies all over the USA. Volunteers who are also mothers of preemies will answer the hotline and provide support, advice, and answers. Weecare offers rides, meals, help at home, and activities for siblings. A neonatologist is on call to provide information and assistance.

The ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) Foundation, strives to help parents of children born to soon to be able to make choices about their infant or child’s future. Through their website, parents are able to get the answers they have been looking for. The foundation was founded by people who have a personal experience with Retinopathy of Prematurity in conjunction with a group of retina surgeons. An international online support group for parents of babies born 6 or more weeks premature. The Preemie-L Discussion Forum supports families of premature babies while the babies are in hospital and as they grow up. Discussions are focused on the experience of prematurity for family, the babies themselves, and friends.

CarePages

The Preemie Community Forum


The online Preemie Community Forum gives the parents of children born prematurely a safe, trusted environment in which to share and support one another through their individual journeys and experiences. Parents have the opportunity to easily create online journals reflecting their experiences raising their children — from the NICU through to the school years. Parents create and participate in discussions about medical, lifestyle, and emotional issues surrounding the care and raising of premature children.
