Osteochondroma

Benign bone tumors found most often between 10 and 30 years of age.  In most cases, they are painless bumps, but some are located under tendons or near blood vessels and can snap tendons or cause changes in blood flow.  Can eventually disappear or become malignant.  Should be followed carefully with radiographs, and may be removed to relieve symptoms.
