Food Intolerance

An adverse reaction, either physiological or behavioral, in response to certain foods.  Symptoms include any combination of digestive problems, runny nose, breathing problems, itching skin, hives, eczema, rash, headaches, insomnia, hyperirritability, anxiety, depression, and concentration problems.  Depending on the type of food intolerance, treatment can include taking enzymes to aid the digestion of those foods or treatment of symptoms.  Avoiding those foods, if possible, is the best treatment.
