Fibromyalgia

 

                  


Fibromyalgia is a muscle system disorder which causes pain, tenderness, and stiffness of muscles and tendons, as well as fatigue, sleep difficulties, headaches, and depression.  They may be triggered by some autoimmune disorders, such as Lupus.  Women are more commonly affected.  Treatment is by physical therapy and exercise, stress reduction, and drug therapy to control pain or depression.
