Croup

A common disease of the upper respiratory tract usually affecting young children leading to a loud barking cough.  Symptoms include hoarseness, loud barking cough, breathing difficulties, and fever.  Sometimes breathing difficulties may require emergency treatment.  Treatment includes breathing in moist warm or cool air.  Serious cases mat require emergency treatment for breathing and steroid drops.
