The NFLs star player Derrik Coleman has been hearing impaired since he was 3 years old. As a child, he was picked on, and left out of games. The coaches did not know how to communicate with him, and told him to quit. But he persevered.

As he says, “I’ve been deaf since I was 3, so I didn’t listen….Now I’m here…a lot of fans cheer me on, and I hear them all!”
