Encephalitis

Potentially deadly brain inflammation caused by viral infection that causes the brain to swell.  Initial symptoms include cold like symptoms or gastrointestinal problems often followed by headache, light sensitivity, stiff neck, lethargy, increased irritability, seizures, skin rashes, speech changes, or hallucinations.
